At the Club Meeting on March 13th, Terry Daly awarded Stephen Knox Life Membership of the TSCC.
Stephen & Jill have been members since 2012 with Stephen being Top Gear Editor for three years between 2016 and 2018 and President for five years between 2019 and 2023.
While editor he compiled two special editions:
- Created in Victory
A look at Le Mans cars and membership ownership of the same - The Willys and Aston Martin Restoration Supplement
An account of Les Johnson's Willys Overland Roundup and a story on the restoration of an Aston Martin
Stephen guided the club through the Covid years and we have emerged as a strong and vibrant club at the end of his Presidency. Other notable achievements included:
- The introduction of the Mystery Weekends
- The club's 40th Anniversary Celebrations at Chateau Elan
Stephen is incredibly well respected in motoring and historic racing circles and has been a wonderful ambassador for our club!
Following Stephen's acceptance of his Life Membership he proceeded to give a presentation on all the things he had done in his life.
