We'd originally wanted to complete this Special Edition of Top Gear while Stephen was still our President but a number of interruptions occurred - including the 300 page history of Formula Ford in Australia which was published just before Christmas by the Formula Ford Association.

However its fitting that it has been completed just before Stephen gives a presentation at the March General Meeting on all the other things he has done with his life ... this is just a small part!

It is Stephen & Jill's story. They are both very modest and matter of fact about what they have done, and it was great fun getting them to tell all the tales that are recounted in this Edition. And its only afterwards that you sit down and say 'Wow!' And they did it as a team ... just lovely!

It is also the story of all the members that participated. They lent me their personal photo albums, and they wrote some great insights into a wonderful period in our motorsport history.
