Updated Policies & Procedures Manual

Your Club is bound by the Constitution which is the Model Constitution issued by the Department of Fair Trading and updated by them, typically every 5 years.

We do not have the ability to vary the Constitution but we can adapt it to our needs and add additional requirements that set out the administrastion of the Club through the TSCC Policies and Procedures Manual or PPM. You can view or download your own copy from the website here.

Previous versions of both can be found in the Library.

The last PPM update was completed at the Committee Meeting and is dated 1st February 2024.

The principal changes are:

  • List Item
  • List Item
  • Membership Renewals
The notice will be sent to members on or around 1st April and all subscriptions are due by June 30th. If you fail to renew on time you cease to be a member
  • Historic Registration
If you are no longer a financial member any cars you have on club plates become unregistered ... and therefore uninsured
  • New Members
New members joining in the last quarter of the year will not be charged a renewal and will therefore receive up to 15 months of membership
  • Pointscore
We have added 1 point per event if you bring a car over 30 years of age. It is your responsibility to inform the organiser. There is no limit on the number of points you can receive for articles published in Top Gear ... but what gets published is at the Editors discretion. Regular lunches like Lynwood get 1 point. Multi day events get 1 point for each extra day.
  • Eligibility for life membership has been changed from 12 years to 10

We have also re-introduced the Sporting Pointscore. This will be addressed in a separate News item.
